The Good Samaritan Board had an emergency Board meeting in order to approve the Budget for the upstairs remodeling. The $15,000.00 budget was approved. This is for materials only- all labor cost is free. 


Educational Center will include:


Room #1 A computer resource room where we will be offering job searches with applications being submitted, community resources for shelters-including men’s, women’s, domestic violence, and family housing.  Also to be used for other food banks and community resources.  There will be also an opportunity for our clients to have computer training.

Room #3 This area is to be used for teaching and preaching the Word of God, Bible Studies and Discipleship classes. This room is also to be used as a prayer/deliverance room for healing the sick and broken hearted by His Presence. We will also include prayer for provision. Where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.

Room #2 Meeting office-this room is for one-on-one interviews and counseling in a more private setting.  This can also be use for a group meeting.

Room #4 Kitchen area will be a place for drinks and snacks to be provided to our attendees.

Room #5 Bathroom will have a toilet and shower available to those in need. 

Room #6 Bathroom-2 toilet stalls and sink area.

USE INTENTION STATEMENT:

ALL OF THE RESOURCES PROVIDED WILL BE INTENDED TO BRING PEOPLE IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH 

JESUS CHRIST.


Room #3     Teaching God’s Word Room


We will start by removing the wood from the wall with the windows the South Wall to reveal brick We'll also be scraping the floors. 

And prepping them for new flooring LVP, removing the sink in the main Hall area and putting the plumbing into the wall to be used in the kitchen all wall paneling will be repaired to original form caulked and painted windows will be cleaned and repaired to open as needed. 

Room #1 Computer Room.

Rug will be covered and preserved for future use. 

Walls will be primed and painted we will be building counters for computer use and installing ceiling fans. 

Room #2 Office 

We will scrape the floor to replace with LVP prime the walls clean the windows paint with accent wall furnish with meeting table and chairs 

       Existing Kitchen Room

Will be prepped floors for LVP we will put cabinets on the walls and countertops with plumbing sink and electrical as a kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator paint with accent wall. 

#1 Bathroom

Walls repaired shower repaired and bring up to date with plumbing and toilet repaired.

#2 Bathroom

We will be removing the shower stalls demo. 

Building partitions to separate toilet areas they will be two toilet areas 

and walls be repaired plumbing will be repaired and up-to-date. 

We will add a cabinet for a double sink. 

New toilets paint walls and LVP flooring. 

Last project-Main Entry Hall 



We will be removing the carpet Sheetrocking two ends of the room with leaving the middle of the room raw wood finished.

with LVP flooring repainting the brick walls and adding raw wood to the East wall with reclaimed wood for an industrial look.

Brother Cloxton will be overseer of all work materials and finances. 

Brother Carlos Pimental will be the Foreman.

Brother Beltran will be on Site Manager. 

Brother Bryan Villatoro will be Volunteer Coordinator. 

Brother Allan Ehler will be in charge of upgrading all electrical throughout the building and checking electrical box and upgrades.

Project time 4 months-Depending on volunteer’s schedules.

Project budget $15,000.00.

We will need three or more volunteers until project is completed.

Volunteer responsibilities will include heavy lifting 50 lb. and over they will need to be able to wear a dust mask we will provide. 

And a willingness to work with an understanding that we are doing this on to God. 

Also, the ability to communicate in English.

With an ability to use a sledge Hammer, Hammer cat's paw pliers and other tools of a handyman trade no knowledge is required just a willing heart 

A schedule for volunteers will be needed.
